Depending on your sailing experience, you need to get familiar with the Adriatic winds. Most common are: Jugo (south-east wind), Bura (north-east wind), Maestral (north-easterly wind), Široko (southerly wind), Tramuntana (north wind), Levant and Istočnjak (eastern wind).
